Educational Qualification for SSC Stenographer Grade
Candidates for Stenographer Grade C & D must have completed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.
Stenography Skill Test: Candidates who are shortlisted in the Computer Based Examination will be required to take the Stenography Skill Test. Candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as specified in the online Application Form) at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for the post of Stenographer Grade “C” and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade “D.”

Important Reminders
Candidates for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2020 should be aware that the scanned colour passport size photograph must be uploaded in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB) in the Examination’s online Application Form.
I should not be older than three months from the date the Notice of Examination was published, and
ii) the photograph’s date of capture should be clearly printed on the photograph.
Applications without the date printed on the photograph shall be rejected.
