The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the online results for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 02/2022/ NCC Special Entry/ Meteorology Entry/ Courses Beginning in July 2023.
Registration for online applications will begin on June 1, 2022 (11:00 a.m.) and will end on June 30, 2022 (05:00 p.m.) at https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR https://afcat.cdac.i. Before applying, please read the entire notification.

Eligibility Criteria For AFCAT
Candidates for the Flying Branch must have a minimum of 50% marks in Maths and Physics at the 10+2 level.
(a) A three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum of 60% or equivalent. OR
(b) A four-year BE/B Tech degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% or equivalent. OR
(c) Candidates who have passed Section A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent from a recognised university.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, as well as a four-year degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from a recognised university, OR they must have passed Sections A and B of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) (More Details Must See Notification.)
Non-Technical Ground Duty Branch:-
Administration and Logistics- Passed 10+2 and a Graduate Degree (minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section
Accounts Branch- Passed 10+2 and graduated with 60% or equivalent from a recognised university in any of the following streams:
(aaa) Bachelor of Commerce (Min three years course). (aab) Bachelor of Business Administration (with a finance specialization)/ Bachelor of Management Studies (with a finance specialization)/ Bachelor of Business Studies (with specialisation in Finance) (aac) CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA qualified (aad) Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Education- Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% marks in any discipline, including integrated courses offering PG (single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), and Graduation with 60% marks in any discipline.
Meteorology: Postgraduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geophysics

Physical Fitness Test For AFCAT
Candidates are advised to be physically fit when you report for SSB in order to be able to undergo various tests at AFSB. You should aim to achieve an ability to run 01 mile (1.6 kms) in 10 minutes, 10 push ups and 3 chin ups.
Minimum height for Flying Branch will be 162.5 cm.
Acceptable measurements of leg length, thigh length and sitting height for such aircrew will be as under: –
- Sitting height : 81.5 cm – 96.0 cm (Min-Max)
- Leg Length : 99.0 cm – 120.0 cm (Min-Max)
- Thigh Length : 64.0 cm (Max)
The minimum height for entry into ground duty branches will be 157.5 cm
