From September 17, 2022, all qualified candidates can apply online at https://haryanatet.in/. Eligibility Criteria For HTET
(A) For becoming a teacher in Classes I-V: Primary School Teacher (PRT)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or currently enrolled in the final year of a two-year diploma in elementary education. OR Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or currently enrolled in the final year of a two-year diploma in elementary education.
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing OR final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% and passed OR final year of a two-year diploma in education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and passing or being in the final year of two
year Elementary Education Diploma (by whatever name known).
- Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Senior Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as a subject.
(B) Level – 2 – For becoming a teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Graduate Teacher Trained (TGT)
Bachelor’s Degree with D.El.Ed. or B.Ed.
